I am a homemaker living in Sapporo with my husband and 17-year-old son.

ビジネスの日本語や日本の歴史（れきし）を学びませんか？

みなさん、こんにちは。Yukioです。
 
　私は、みなさんのメールや報告書、プレゼンテーション資料をより良く添削する、ビジネス日本語のレッスンをしています。私はエンジニアとして37年間、仕事をしました。シンガポールでも二年間、仕事をしましたので、英語でも話せます。エンジニア時代に、学会などでの発表を29回、本や技術雑誌への寄稿を31件、お客様や役員会（board meeting）でのプレゼンテーションをたくさん経験しました。また、部長として多くの文書やプレゼンテーション資料を指導してきました。この経験をもとに、みなさんがビジネスで成功できるように、支援します。添削だけでなく、いろいろな相談もして下さい。
　また、私は、エンジニア時代から、ツアー･ガイド（ボランティア）をし、もう10年間の経験があります。日本人と話をするときや、観光をするときに、日本の歴史や一般常識（common sense）を知っていることは、大切ですよね。日本の中学生用のテキストを使って、システマティック（systematic）に、そして観光地も教えます。民俗学（folklore）も得意です。

・歴史について、日本人と同じことを習います。日本語で歴史の情報（information）を集めることができ、マンガや日本文化のバックグラウンドがわかります。
・長い文が多いので、読解力がつきます（reading ability）。
ただし、中級以上（できればN3レベル以上）の日本語能力が要ります。私が読むことを手伝いますので、上の文を読めれば、レッスンを受けてみてください。英語でも説明します。だいたいの日本の歴史は、私のページの最後に、英語で書いてあります。

Hi everyone, I’m Yukio.
 
 I was an engineer with 37-year experience. I worked at Singapore for two years. While working I made 29 presentations at academic societies and provided 31 papers to books and technology magazines. Of course, I had many presentations for my customers and board meetings. As a senior manager (bucho), I checked and instructed lots of documents including presentation materials. I would like to improve your e-mail, documents and presentation materials based on my experience. It’s “Business Japanese” lesson.
 My different face is a tour guide. I’m eager to contribute foreigners, therefore I started a guide activity after returning to Japan from S’pore. I’ve been a volunteer guide more than 10 years. ・A junior high school textbook is used in this class. It contains many pictures which makes learning more interesting!

　Which period and category do you want to learn?
・In the first lesson, I would ask why you want to learn Japanese history and what your goals are. I’ll show you the text and the detailed time schedule.
 
<Course goals of history lesson (Learning outcome）>
  After taking this course, you will be able to:
  - Acquire knowledge about Japanese history same as ordinary Japanese people. Therefore,
   you can understand manga or Japanese culture much more, because you know the background.
　 you can improve your Japanese language skills, because you have common sense of history,
- Acquire reading ability, because there are long sentences on the text even the complex ones.
 
<Special notes for history lesson>
・Intermediate Japanese language skill is required to read the textbook. More than N3 (JLPT) is preferable. I’ll support you. If you can read my Japanese text on my top page, then you’ll be fit for this lesson.
・I can support you in English complementary if you need.

【Time schedule】
・Lessons are held in the afternoon on Sunday, and in the morning and afternoon on Monday (JST). The schedule is updated in the Sunday evening.
   If you want to learn at a different time, don’t hesitate to tell me it. I'll open the class at your convenient time.
 
Reference: Outline of Japanese history
 Tennou/天皇 became a ruler in the 6^th century. The dynasty “Yamato” is still continuing. 
 In 710, Nara became the capital, then Kyoto became the capital in 794. 

 The power moved to samurai in the 12^th century who originally had protected the emperor and nobles. Unhappily, the internal wars occurred in the 15^th century, but Tokugawa finally controlled Japan. He was designated as a Shougun in 1603 and the Edo period started. The peacetime lasted more than 250 years. However, western countries made colonies in Asia. The shogunate could not deal with it well, and it ended in 1868.
 
 Japan struggled to catch up with western countries, and became one of the great powers. But, Japan was defeated completely at the Second World War in 1945. At that time, Japan invaded Asia countries and hurt a lot of people. 

 Although the sovereignty was transferred from the emperor to the people after the war,  the emperor and his family are respected even until now.

現在は会話のレッスンのみを行っています。
I used to teach grammar lessons using Genki on JapaTalk, but I no longer do.
Currently, I only offer conversation lessons.

現在アメリカ在住のため、時差の関係で返信が遅れる場合がありますが、12時間以内に必ず返信しますので、ご安心ください。

わたしはアニメーションの会社（かいしゃ）でCGをつくったり、セールスをしていました。

I was working at an Animation Company to make Anime CG and was the sales maneger.

小学校（しょうがっこう）でも子どもたちといっしょに勉強（べんきょう）していました。

If your goal is only to speak Japanese fluently, I can help you.

なるべくたくさんの会話（かいわ）を毎日（まいにち）することです。今日（きょう）の予定（よてい）や、今日（きょう）やりおえたこと、なんでも話し（はなし）ます。間違える（まちがえる）ことを恐れ（おそれ）ないでください。わたしも英語（えいご）をはやく話せる（はなせる）ようになりたくて、間違えても（まちがえても）気にせず（きにせず）、話して（はなして）練習（れんしゅう）しました。わたしはあなたの間違い（まちがい）はきになりません。それはうまくなるための過程（かてい）だからです。時間（じかん）があるときにいつでもレッスンの予約（よやく）をしてください。

With each lesson we will review the previous study material, learn new material, and discuss anything else you want to talk about. Please don't be afraid to make mistakes. I wanted to be able to speak English. So, I practiced speaking English without worrying about making mistakes. I don't worry about your mistakes. This is because it is a part of your imprrovement. When you have time, let's practice Japanese conversation!

②会話（かいわ）も読み書き（よみかき）も同時（どうじ）に習得（しゅうとく）したいかた

If your goal is to speak Japanese fluently, and read and write Japanese as well, I can help you.

好きな（すきな）トピックを選び（えらび）、インターネットで検索（けんさく）して文章（ぶんしょう）を読み（よみ）、それについて話し（はなし）、お互いに（おたがいに）質問（しつもん）をしあい、答え（こたえ）を文章（ぶんしょう）で書ける（かける）ように練習（れんしゅう）します。すこしづつレベルアップできるようにフォローします。

Select a topic of your choice, search the internet, read passages, talk about it with me and ask questions, and practice answering in sentences. I will follow you so that you can improve your Japanese little by little.

③すぐに解決（かいけつ）したいことがあるかた

If your goal is to learn how to express your thoughts in the Japanese language, I can help you.

このように話し（はなし）たいけれどどのように話せば（はなせば）よいか、こういう状況（じょうきょう）のときにどのように対処（たいしょ）するべきか、宿題（しゅくだい）のなかによくわからないことがあるなど、すぐに解決（かいけつ）したいときは、一緒（いっしょ）に解決（かいけつ）できるように助ける（たすける）ことができます。

• I majored in Japanese language education and modern Japanerse linguistics at a university (Hiroshima University) and a graduate school (Osaka University) in Japan.
• 長年、英語の教師をしています。中国や韓国、東南アジアやスペイン語・ポルトガル語圏など、いろいろな国からの人々にも教えてきました。
• I have been teaching English as my profession for many years. I have taught it to people from various countries like China, Korea, and Southeastern and Spanish/Portugues-speaking countries.

• I lived in the Philippines for almost 20 years to study and work there. I can speak a little Ilocano and others.

Riki です。長崎県の大村市に住んで、今、市のボランティアガイドをしています。長崎は、原爆が落とされたところ、そして江戸時代に唯一（ゆいいつ）外国とつながっていた場所として有名です。そして、悲しい隠れ（かくれ）キリシタンの歴史があります。
小さい頃からおてんばだった私は、学生時代は器械体操（きかいたいそう）、大人になってからは、Scubadiving,Paragliderなど、長年やってきました。とにかく、何かに挑戦（ちょうせん）することが好きです。人生って、チャレンジの連続ではないかしら？今は、卓球やバドミントン、社交ダンス、水泳、そして、二胡（にこ）に夢中（むちゅう）です。
みなさんも、日本語を学ぶことにチャレンジされていますね。中学の頃から英語を学んできた日本人が、英語をほとんど話せないのに、みなさんは、本当にすごいです。
  このレッスンの中では、まちがいをおそれず、たくさんお話し下さい。 私は、ゆっくり、ていねいに話したり、聞いたりを心がけます。私は、旅行が好きで、世界の３０か国くらい訪れました。といっても、クルーズでちょっと立ち寄ったところも合わせてですが。そこでは、できるだけ現地の人と英語で話すようにしています。今も、そこまで、ペラペラではありませんが、毎日（まいにち）Webを通（とお）して海外（かいがい）の方とも話していますから、英語で説明（せつめい）することも可能（かのう）です。

　Nice to meet you. My nickname is Riki. I live in Nagasaki prefecture.  I am a volunteer tour guide in my city. Untill 6 years ago I was a elementary  school's teacher.
I was a tomboy, so I used to jumped from my house's roof into the straw. It is my fun and good old memory.

トピックについて、お互いの意見を言い合ったり、または、ニュースを読んで、その感想を話し合ったり、と、様々なレッスンを選んでいただけます。
※わたしのレッスンでは、特にビジネス会話に力を入れています！
　ex. 電話の取り方、電話の受け方、上司との話し方　
また、ディベート（話題のやりとり）

例：①ゴミ袋有料化は必要か？②時間と仕事はどちらが大切か？③自国の産業でNo1と言われる企業は？
など、自分の意見や、思い、考え方などを今持っている日本語の知識を活かしてぜひ、論争しませんか？

      (しゅうりょう)しました。日本語教師(にほんご
      きょうし)になってから、世界(せかい)のみなさん
      と、お話(はな)しできて、とても、楽(たの)しくて、
      幸(しあわ)せです。みなさんの喜(よろこ)びが、
      わたしの喜(よろこ)びです。​

      My name is Max. I am a native Japanese
      speaker. I completed the Japanese teacher
      training program 420 hours in 2016. Since

     東京(とうきょう)オリンピック・パラリンピックを、
     4年間(ねんかん)支援(しえん)しました。日本語教師
     (にほんごきょうし)4年目(ねんめ)です。同時(どうじ)
     にツアー・コンダクターもしております。

     in Japan. I worked for sales and marketing in
     Japanese electric manufacturer for 37 years.
     During I was a member of the company, I
     prepared for Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic
     Games for 4 years. This year is the 4^th year as
