My name is Mikiko, I completed Japanese language teacher training course(420 hours).
Now I live in the United States with my American husband.
I am Japanese and speak the standard language (Hyojungo).
I grew up in Hokkaido, Niigata and Ibaraki. As an adult I lived in Tokyo for 32 years.
Worked as an administrator for over 10 years at English language schools in Tokyo.
I supported students learning English.
Before the English language school, I worked for a design company that makes videos.
I studied English in England. I've traveled to Hawaii, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Korea and Taiwan.
I understand very well how difficult it is to study a language.
And I know how it's fun to talk in foreign language!
My hobbies are watching movies and gardening.
Now I'm growing Japanese vegetables in the United States.

北海道(ほっかいどう)や新潟(にいがた)、茨城(いばらき)で育(そだ)ち、東京(とうきょう)には32年(ねん)住(す)んでいました。
東京の英会話(えいかいわ)スクールで10年以上アドミニストレーターとして働(はたら)き、
英語(えいご)を習(なら)う生徒(せいと)さんたちをサポートしていました。
その前(まえ)は映像(えいぞう)を作(つく)るデザイン会社(がいしゃ)に勤(つと)めていました。
私はイギリスに留学(りゅうがく)したことがあります。
ハワイ、カナダ、フランス、イタリア、ドイツ、オランダ、ベルギー、韓国(かんこく)、台湾(たいわん)に旅行(りょこう)したことがあります。
アメリカ人(じん)の夫(おっと)と暮(く)らしています。今(いま)も毎日(まいにち)英語(えいご)を勉強(べんきょう)しています。
語学(ごがく)を勉強(べんきょう)することの大変(たいへん)さはとてもよくわかっています。
そして話(はな)せるようになった時(とき)の喜(よろこ)びもよく知(し)っています。
