Types of Lesson

(1) Thorough Pronunciation Correction Course 

I have been a voice trainer in Tokyo for a long time. I correct your speech and train your vocalization. I can listen to your voice and find out where to fix it for better articulation and instruct you.
You will get the hang of how to open your mouth, tongue position, breath strength, etc. in my lessons.
Although this is a technical subject, please be assured that I will teach you by looking at pictures, imitating, and having fun.
By pronouncing together many times, you will learn natural Japanese.
In addition, the inflection of Japanese changes depending on the pronunciation of your native language. This is because you are inevitably pulled to your native language. We will find your habits and train together many times on the phrases that cause your wrong pronunciation.
 
(2) Natural Expression Conversation Skills Course
 
This course is designed for those who can converse to some extent, but have difficulty in using natural expressions like Japanese people.
Let's have a lot of free conversation, or let's talk about a subject we have prepared for you.
We will correct the unnatural parts of the conversation as we go along. I will also teach you the phrases that Japanese people prefer and that make a good impression on them but natural.
Many teachers and friends will not bother to correct you because your Japanese is understandable.
However, in my lessons, I will correct them for natural way. Let's improve your conversational ability!



(3) KIDS　lesson
 
I love children and have a teaching license. I provide fun lessons using pictures and music. First, please let me know your child's level and your goal.
I will create an original curriculum and try to make the children concentrate on the lesson without getting bored but fun. I have taught many children in Japan.
My nephews and nieces are also half-Canadian. I also enjoy learning through cartoons and songs.

気になるニュースや出来事について、学びながら日本語の勉強をしましょう！一緒にニュースの記事を読んだり、内容についての意見を交換することで、発音や語彙、表現の練習ができます。私は政治についてはあまり詳しくありませんが、基本的に社会問題全般に興味があります。どんな意見でも構いません。ぜひ自由に話し合いましょう！

Let's study Japanese while learning about news and events that interest you! By reading news articles together and exchanging opinions about the content, we can practice pronunciation, vocabulary, and expressions. I'm not very knowledgeable about politics, but I'm generally interested in social issues. Any opinion is welcome. Let's have a free discussion!

日本の日常生活や仕事での悩みなど、困っていることを何でも話してみてください。身近な人には相談できないようなことでも、気をつかわずに話しやすいと思います。どんな悩みでもお聞きします。

[About yuka sensei]
Nice to meet you! I'm Yuka, a Japanese language teacher.
I majored in English and Japanese education. After graduating from my University, I worked as an English teacher at a public school in Japan for three years, then taught Japanese language  to international students at a private school for four years. Now I live abroad and teach Japanese to students from all over the world. Teaching is my passion! 

I've lived in the US and the UK. I currently live in South Korea . My hobbies are zumba, yoga, watching movies, and traveling. I am currently attending college for a second degree majoring in Communication Studies.

• レッスン内で、できたことは思い切り褒めたいと思います。一方、生徒様の日本語で直すべきところがある場合は、ポジティブな雰囲気を保つことを忘れずに言葉を選んだフィードバックをしていきます。

レッスンの終わり

• 今日学んだことを復習して、目標が達成されたかを確認します。

 

Message to Absolute Beginners

Trial lesson with 390pts!

I am good at teaching absolute beginners as I teach many Year 7 kids (around 12 yeras old) every year who never know Japanese in their life before.

In my class, you can learn;

• Japanese alphabets (Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji)
• Japanese words
• How to make a basic sentence in Japanese

I think that is enough for absolute beginners. We can do more stuff after you learn all above.

Here is how a lesson goes:

1. (first few minutes) Decide learning intention and success criteria for today's class. This is the goal for today's lesson.
2. Learn Japanese with different activities such as role-play, quiz, listening tasks etc to achieve the goal.
3. (last few minutes) Revise what we did today. I may give you homework if you are keen.

In my class, you could learn with;

• songs
  • Let's sing songs to learn basic words if you want. They are really helpful to remember words at once!
• flashcards
  • to remember Hiragana and Katakana
• a lot of positive words to encourage you to move forward

わたしのしょうかい↓スタート♪

わたしはあかるいやさしいせんせいです！

みんなからよくいやしけい（healing)のせんせいといわれます。
（うまれたばしょ）しずおかけん　
（すんでいるばしょ）かながわけん
（しゅみ）おてらやじんじゃ,にはくぶつかんへいってにほんやがいこくのぶんかにふれること。カフェ、ドライブ。

にほんごのせんせいになって20ねんです。

2004ねんにワーキングホリデーでオーストラリアへいきました。２００６ねんにシドニーでにほんごきょうしライセンス（Japanese teacher license 420 hours)をとりました。２かいいったことがあり、ケアンズとシドニーにすんでいたことがあります。
アメリカとカナダもいったことがあります。

こくさいこうりゅうセンター（International center)でしょきゅうクラス（Beginner）ちゅうきゅうクラス（Intermediate)じょうきゅうクラス（Advanced)、こうじょうではたらくがいこくじんのためのにほんごきょうしつのせんせいをしました。

がいこくじんののこどもたちに、きょうかしょやほんによくでてくるにほんごのいみやかんじ、カタカナ、ひらがな、がっこうのべんきょうをおしえるせんせいをしていました。
たくさんのひとたちにプライベートレッスンをしました。

わたしはがいこくにすんでいたときに、ことばがわからなくてこまっていたことがあったので、とてもきもちがわかります。だから、にほんのせいかつでのみんなのいろいろななやみもたくさんきいて、そうだんにのってきました。

そのため、いまはえいごとポルトガルご、しんりがく（psychology)をべんきょうちゅうです。
すこしえいごがわかります。


わたしのレッスンは、いっぱいまちがえてもだいじょうぶです。

I was teaching Japanese language classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced classes at the International Exchange Center.
I was a teacher who taught Japanese meaning,Kanji,Katakana,Hiragana,and school studies often used by foreign children.
I also had private lessons for many foreigners.

I can understand my feelings because I have trouble when I was living abroad and I don't understand words.so I heard a lot of troubles in everyone's Japanese life and got in consultation.

I'm currently studying English,Portuguese,and psychology.I can speak a little English.

過去（かこ）のニュースから最新（さいしん）のニュースに基（もと）づいて進（すす）めていきます。文法（ぶんぽう）、発音（はつおん）、漢字（かんじ）を学（まな）んでいきます。授業（じゅぎょう）の前（まえ）にいくつかのニュースを送（おく）ります。そこから気（き）になる記事を選（えら）んで一緒（いっしょ）に学（まな）びましょう。またもし読（よ）みたい記事（きじ）などあればもちろんいいです。

・会話（かいわ）  Conversation
スムーズに会話（かいわ）ができるように、コミュニケーションスキルを磨（みが）きましょう。場面（ばめん）を設定（せってい）し、できるだけ話（はな）すことを重視（じゅうし）します。

・写真描写（しゃしんびょうしゃ）  Describing pictures

文法（ぶんぽう）と文法構成力（ぶんぽうこうせいりょく）の理解（りかい）を深（ふか）めましょう。

・ディスカッション  Discussion
興味（きょうみ）の的（まと）となる題材（わだい）を選んでディスカッションをしましょう。

・テーマ別会話  Conversation topics
様々（さまざま）な質問（しつもん）やトピックを通（とお）して会話（かいわ）の練習（れんしゅう）をしましょう。

・フリートーク  Free conversation
自由（じゆう）な話題（わだい）で話（はな）しましょう。興味（きょうみ）のあること、悩み事（なやみごと）、何（なん）でもいいです。

・子ども向け　For kids
ひらがな、カタカナ、漢字（かんじ）を書（か）いたり、読（よ）んだり
基本単語（きほんたんご）、簡単（かんたん）な文（ぶん）を楽（たの）しく学（まな）ぶことができます。

語学（ごがく）の学習（がくしゅう）は、とにかく話（はな）すことです。怖（こわ）がらず、恥（は）ずかしがらず、どんどん話（はな）しましょう。(^_^)♩一緒（いっしょに）に会話（かいわ）を楽（たの）しみましょう！
