1983年から1985年まで、日本の商社で3年間働きました。アメリカとホンコンで海外勤務の経験があります。 約30年間、運送会社を経営していましたので、雇用者と被雇用者の 両方の立場から お話やアドバイスをすることができます。
現在は、日英翻訳、英語教師をしながら、ディズニーランド内のホテルで働くフィリピン、ネパール、中国、マレーシアなどからの 特定技能の方たちに 日本語で、必要があれば英語で、日常業務の指導をしながら日本語と日本語会話をお教えしております。
I was born and raised in Japan. My hometown is Chiba Prefecture, next to Tokyo. I speak standard Japanese without an accent. I graduated from Waseda University in 1981. From 1981 to 1983, I studied abroad in the United States, pursuing a degree in Business Administration at the University of California, San Diego. After that, I worked for a Japanese trading company from 1983 to 1985, gaining overseas experience in the US and Hong Kong. For about 30 years, I managed a transportation company, which allows me to offer insights and advice from both employer and employee perspectives. Currently, I work as a Japanese-English translator and English teacher. I also teach Japanese and conversational Japanese to specific skilled workers from the Philippines, Nepal, China, Malaysia, and other countries, who are employed at hotels in Tokyo Disneyland. In my teaching role, I provide guidance on their daily tasks in Japanese and English when necessary. ☆ 趣味や特技 ☆ 音楽が好きです。ロック、ジャズ、ポップス、クラシック、J-Pop、R＆Bなどを聴いています。 スポーツはアメリカンフットボールとサーフィンが好きです。 少林寺拳法は初段です。柔道の経験もあります。 最近の好きなアニメは ワンピース、鬼滅の刃、チェンソーマン、呪術回戦、ダンダダン です。 ☆ Hobbies and skills ☆ I like music. Let's talk about themes and topics that suit your needs, such as manga, anime, movies, music, sports, etc. ☆ わたしのモットーと学習者のみなさんにアドバイス ☆ ★ わたしのモットー 言葉は、コミュニケーションのツールです。一回一回のレッスンの全てが一期一会だと考えています。 お互いを尊重し合って、楽しく、長く続けていける雰囲気を大切にしたいと思います。 無理をせず、なんでも率直に話し合って共に良い時間を過ごしましょう。 ★ 学習者のみなさんにアドバイス 日本語は難しい言語のひとつだと言われていますが、会話においてはとても柔軟で、語順や助詞の間違いなどがあっても十分に理解することができます。恥ずかしがらずに、できるだけ多くアウトプットするようにしましょう。 語彙力、文法の理解、文章の読解、リスニング、スピーキングと、全ての分野を網羅するのは大変なことですが、焦らず、あまり無理をしないで、自分に合った学習のペースを守っていけば、必ずゴールに到達することができます。 ここ、重要です まずは、インプットを心がけてください。忘却曲線を考えると、できれば毎日、もしくは隔日くらいで、1回５分でも10分でも結構です。漫画、アニメ、雑誌、テレビ、YouTubeやSNSなどで、日本語に接するように努力してみてください。
インプットが十分な量に到達すると、自然とリスニング力が上がったり、アウトプットする力が飛躍的に向上したりするときが来ます。 もし、アウトプットするチャンスが無かったり、時間が無かったり、相手がいなかったりする場合でも、心配いりません。定期的にインプットを続けていれば必ず効果が表れるときが来ます。 もし、アウトプットするチャンスがあったら、その時は積極的にチャレンジしてください。無理をすることはありません。
アウトプットすることで、まだ記憶できていないことを発見したり、定着していないために応用が効かないことに気づくことができます。
☆ My motto and advice to students ☆ ★ My motto Language is a tool for communication. I think that every lesson is a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. I want to cherish an atmosphere where we can respect each other, have fun, and continue for a long time. Don't push yourself too hard, be frank about everything, and have a good time together. ★ Advice to students Japanese is said to be one of the difficult languages, but it is very flexible in conversation, and even if there are mistakes in word order or particles, you can still be fully understood. Don't be shy, and try to output as much as possible. It is challenging to cover all areas, such as vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, listening, and speaking. However, if you take your time, don't push yourself too hard, and maintain a learning pace that suits you, you will reach your goal. This is important. First, focus on input. Considering the forgetting curve, if possible, do so every day or every other day, even if it's just for 5 or 10 minutes. Try to expose yourself to Japanese through various media, such as manga, anime, magazines, TV, YouTube, and social media. Once you've reached a sufficient amount of input, your listening ability will naturally improve, and your output ability will also improve dramatically. Don't worry if you don't have a chance, time, or anyone to output to, as long as you continue to input information regularly. The benefits will definitely become apparent. If you have a chance to output, take advantage of the opportunity. Don't push yourself too hard. Output allows you to discover things you haven't yet memorized or realize that you can't apply what you've learned because it hasn't been solidified. I am open to your requests and will do my best to accommodate them. With my background as an international student and experience working abroad, I believe I can relate to your language learning journey. I am flexible with lesson times based on your needs. Let me introduce myself.
I am from Saitama, and I have experience teaching English to elementary and junior high school students. Through teaching English, I have experienced the joy of learning a new language and how it opens up a whole new world. I want to share that joy with you, which is why I decided to teach Japanese.
Also, until last month, I worked at the Japan Pavilion in Disney World, Florida. There, I had the opportunity to introduce Japanese culture to guests from all over the world. I met many people who were interested in Japanese culture and language, and it deepened my appreciation for the joy and beauty of learning Japanese.
I’ve also played basketball for 10 years and have experience teaching English to children and working as a Disney cast member, so I have an outgoing and cheerful personality.
