☆　自己紹介　☆

日本で生まれて、日本で育ちました。

ホームタウンは、東京のお隣の、千葉県です。

訛りのない、標準語を話します。

1981年に早稲田大学を卒業しました。社会学を勉強しました。

1981年から1983年まで、アメリカに留学しました。カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校で経営学を勉強しました。

1983年から1985年まで、日本の商社で3年間働きました。アメリカとホンコンで海外勤務の経験があります。

約30年間、運送会社を経営していましたので、雇用者と被雇用者の　両方の立場から　お話やアドバイスをすることができます。

現在は、日英翻訳、英語教師をしながら、

ディズニーランド内のホテルで働くフィリピン、ネパール、中国、マレーシアなどからの　特定技能の方たちに　日本語で、必要があれば英語で、日常業務の指導をしながら日本語と日本語会話をお教えしております。

☆　Self-introduction　☆

I was born and raised in Japan.

My hometown is Chiba Prefecture, next to Tokyo.

I speak standard Japanese without an accent.

I graduated from Waseda University in 1981.

From 1981 to 1983, I studied abroad in the United States, where I pursued a degree in Business Administration at the University of California, San Diego.

After that, I worked for a Japanese trading company from 1983 to 1985, gaining overseas experience in the US and Hong Kong.

For about 30 years, I managed a transportation company, which allows me to offer insights and advice from both employer and employee perspectives.

Currently, I work as a Japanese-English translator and English teacher.

I also teach Japanese and conversational Japanese to specific skilled workers from the Philippines, Nepal, China, Malaysia, and other countries, who are employed at hotels in Tokyo Disneyland. In my teaching role, I provide guidance on their daily tasks in Japanese and English when necessary.


☆　趣味や特技　☆

音楽が好きです。ロック、ジャズ、ポップス、クラシック、J-Pop、R＆Bなどを聴いています。

スポーツはアメリカンフットボールとサーフィンが好きです。

少林寺拳法は初段です。柔道の経験もあります。

最近の好きなアニメは　ワンピース、鬼滅の刃、チェンソーマン、呪術回戦、ダンダダン　です。

☆　Hobbies and skills　☆

I like music. I listen to rock, jazz, pop, classical, J-Pop, R&B, etc.

My favorite sports are American football and surfing.

I have a first-degree black belt in Shorinji Kempo. I also have experience in judo.

My favorite anime these days are One Piece, Demon Slayer, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Dandadan.

日本語を学びたいと思っている人にむけてアドバイスです

★　初めてのひと、初心者のに人、気楽に、楽しく、日本語を学びましょう。

自然な日本語、フォーマルな日本語、細かいニュアンスの違いを知りたい、など、みなさんが学びたいことや、目的をなんでも言ってください。

たとえば

カジュアルなフリートークで、自然な日本語会話を学びたい。

敬語や謙譲語の使い方を学びたい。

ビジネスの場での挨拶や会話のパターンを練習したい。

面接やスピーチなどのスクリプトの準備やパフォーマンスの練習がしたい。

などなど、なんでも結構ですので、遠慮せずに、なんでもリクエストしてください。

皆さんの目的や、ゴールに合ったレッスンをしたいと考えています。

普段は優しい教え方を心がけていますが、厳しくチェックする必要を感じている生徒さんには、内容のチェックは厳しく、でもコミュニケーションにおいては親切で丁寧を心がけますので、もし、厳しい厳密なチェックをご希望がある人は教えてください。

★　言葉だけでなく、日本や日本の文化や歴史にも興味や関心がある人

皆さんの知りたいことや、興味のあることを話してください。

漫画やアニメ、映画、音楽、スポーツなど皆さんのニーズにあったテーマやトピックについて会話をしてみましょう。

Advice for those who want to learn Japanese

★　For first-timers and beginners, let's learn Japanese casually and enjoyably.

Please tell us anything you want to learn or your purpose, such as natural Japanese, formal Japanese, and learning the differences in subtle nuances.

For example

I want to learn natural Japanese conversation through casual free talk.

I want to learn how to use honorifics and humble language.

I want to practice greetings and conversation patterns in business situations.

I want to prepare scripts for interviews and speeches, and practice performances.

Anything is fine, so please feel free to request anything.

I would like to give lessons that suit your purpose and goals.

I usually try to teach in a gentle way, but for students who feel the need for strict checking, I will check the content strictly, but I will try to be kind and polite in communication, so if you would like a strict and strict check, please let me know.


★ People who are interested in not only the language, but also Japan, Japanese culture and history.

Talk about things you want to know and are interested in.

Let's talk about themes and topics that suit your needs, such as manga, anime, movies, music, sports, etc.


☆　わたしのモットーと学習者のみなさんにアドバイス　☆

★　わたしのモットー
言葉は、コミュニケーションのツールです。一回一回のレッスンの全てが一期一会だと考えています。
お互いを尊重し合って、楽しく、長く続けていける雰囲気を大切にしたいと思います。

無理をせず、なんでも率直に話し合って共に良い時間を過ごしましょう。

★　学習者のみなさんにアドバイス
日本語は難しい言語のひとつだと言われていますが、会話においてはとても柔軟で、語順や助詞の間違いなどがあっても十分に理解することができます。恥ずかしがらずに、できるだけ多くアウトプットするようにしましょう。
語彙力、文法の理解、文章の読解、リスニング、スピーキングと、全ての分野を網羅するのは大変なことですが、焦らず、あまり無理をしないで、自分に合った学習のペースを守っていけば、必ずゴールに到達することができます。
暗記することはもちろん大切ですが、アウトプットすることで、まだ記憶できていないことを発見したり、定着していないために応用が効かないことに気づくことができます。
積極的にアウトプットすることが、上達への近道と言えると思います。

★ My motto
Language is a tool for communication. I think that every lesson is a once-in-a-lifetime encounter.
I want to cherish an atmosphere where we can respect each other, have fun, and continue for a long time.

Don't push yourself too hard, and talk about anything frankly, and have a good time together.

★ Advice to students
Japanese is said to be one of the difficult languages, but it is very flexible in conversation, and even if there are mistakes in word order or particles, you can still be fully understood. Don't be shy, and try to output as much as possible.
It is difficult to cover all areas, such as vocabulary, understanding grammar, reading comprehension, listening, and speaking, but if you take your time, don't push yourself too hard, and keep to a learning pace that suits you, you will reach your goal.
Memorization is, of course, important, but by outputting, you can discover things that you have not yet memorized and realize that you cannot apply them because they have not been solidified.
I think that actively outputting can be said to be a shortcut to improvement.


I am open to your requests and will do my best to accommodate them. With my background as an international student and experience working abroad, I believe I can relate to your language learning journey. I am flexible with lesson times based on your needs.
