1. Practice phrases in everyday conversation
Even if you know Japanese, it's very hard to say when you're talking. I will teach you a simple phrase! Let's use the phrases you learned in our lessons!
2. 日本語（にほんご）の読（よ）みかたと作文（さくぶん）

2. How to read and write Japanese
The important thing is to be able to read! Study using textbooks and training sheets I made. (1) Use flashcards and chat boxes to study like a quiz (2) Learn what you like using the kanji you have learned, and how to write essays such as diaries.It will be an exercise to quickly assemble what you want to say in your head. (3) After writing, let's read it. Practice repeatedly together while paying attention to your accent and pronunciation. ※ You can also practice reading using sentences I wrote and web news articles.
3. JLPT対策（たいさく）／教科書（きょうかしょ）を使（つか）った学習（がくしゅう）
私（わたし）が作（つく）った練習問題（れんしゅうもんだい）や『日本語総まとめ（にほんごそうまとめ）』を使（つか）います。 大切（たいせつ）なのは、間違（まちが）えた問題（もんだい）を、何回（なんかい）も繰り返し（くりかえし）復習（ふくしゅう）して、できるようにすることです。毎回（まいかい）レッスンで復習（ふくしゅう）できるように問題（もんだい）を作（つく）るのでやってみましょう。 ※JLPTを受験（じゅけん）しない場合（ばあい）でも、基本的（きほんてき）な日常会話（にちじょうかいわ）がたくさん出（で）てくるので、とても役（やく）に立（た）ちます。 【 私（わたし）が持（も）っているもの】 [ List of textbooks I have] ★ 『まるごと A1～B1』 ★ 『にほんご総まとめ N4・N3・N2』 ★ 『げんき 1・2』 『みんなの日本語1』
私のおすすめは「まるごと」を使ったレッスンです。これは初心者（しょしんしゃ）から中級者（ちゅうきゅうしゃ）までカラーのイラストを使って楽（たの）しく学習（がくしゅう）することができます。
3. JLPT Preparation/Learning Using Textbooks
I use the exercises I made and the Nihongo so matome. The important thing is to remember the wrong problem by reviewing it over and over again. I make up questions and teach them so that I can review them in each lesson. ※ Even if you do not take the JLPT, it is very useful because many basic daily conversations will come out. My recommendation is "Marugoto". From beginners to intermediates, you can enjoy learning with textbooks with color illustrations that are easy to understand. You can learn by sharing the textbooks I have.
4. ビジネス会話（かいわ）の練習（れんしゅう）
日常会話（にちじょうかいわ）と敬語（けいご）の違（ちが）いを知（し）ることから始（はじ）めます。敬語（けいご）は難（むずか）しいのでゆっくり進（すす）めましょう。私が持（も）っている教科書（きょうかしょ）や、私が作（つく）った教材（きょうざい）を使（つか）って学習（がくしゅう）できます。
4. Practice Business Conversation
Start by knowing the difference between everyday conversation and honorifics. Honorifics are difficult, so let's proceed slowly. You can study using the textbooks I have and the teaching materials I have created.
5. 就職面接（しゅうしょくめんせつ）の練習（れんしゅう）

好（す）きなことを自由（じゆう）に話（はな）しましょう！グーグルの翻訳（ほんやく）やあなたの写真（しゃしん）、インターネットの画像（がぞう）を使（つか）ってもいいです。楽（たの）しい時間（じかん）にしましょう。もし会話中（かいわちゅう）に言（い）えなかったところや間違（まちが）えたところがあったら、私（わたし）が訂正（ていせい）して教（おし）えます。話題（わだい）がないときは私（わたし）が作（つく）ったトピックトークのリストからテーマを選（えら）ぶこともできます。シチュエーションをイメージしてロールプレイをする練習（れんしゅう）も楽（たの）しいですよ。
6. Free Talk
Feel free to tell us what you like. Use Google's translation, use photos and images of the internet, You can do whatever you do. Let's have a good time together. 日本の地元（じもと）の 大学（だいがく）でランドスケープデザインを専攻（せんこう）、卒業後（そつぎょうご）東京で 働（はたら）きました。その 後（ご）ドイツに 6年住（す）んだことがあります。ドイツでの 大学院（だいがくいん）で 再（ふたた）びランドスケープデザインを勉強中（べんきょうちゅう）にイタリア人の 夫（おっと）と 結婚（けっこん）し 卒業後、イタリアに 移住（いじゅう）しました。その後 アメリカ（LA）にも 3年住んでいたことがあり、今はイタリア人の夫と ３歳（さい）の 娘（むすめ）とイタリアに住んで4年ほどになります。グラフィックデザイナーの仕事（しごと）もしていましたし、LAでは陶芸（とうげい）の先生（せんせい）もしていました。今は日本語の 先生（せんせい）になりたいと 思（おも）い 勉強（べんきょう）しています。

※生徒（せいと）さんが 小さなお子様の 場合（ばあい）、初回（しょかい）レッスンの前に お子様の年齢（ねんれい）、日本語のレベル、日本語を習（なら）っている背景等（はいけいとう）をスカイプメッセージで 送（おく）って下さい。その子の レベルに 合った 準備（じゅんび）をさせていただきます。

イラスト、カード、絵本（えほん）などを 使（つか）って 楽（たの）しいレッスンにします。ゲーム感覚（かんかく）でひらがなとカタカナを 読（よ）めることから 始（はじ）めていきます。日本の 季節（きせつ）ごとの 行事（ぎょうじ）や 伝統（でんとう）の 遊（あそ）びも紹介（しょうかい）します。
● 初心者（しょしんしゃ）クラス
日常（にちじょう）に必要（ひつよう）な会話（かいわ）（自己紹介（じこしょうかい）、買（か）い物（もの）など）のシチュエーションを設定（せってい）してよく使（つか）われるフレーズを使（つか）って会話（かいわ）の練習（れんしゅう）をします。基本的（きほんてき）には敬語（けいご）ですが、友人同士（ゆうじんどうし）のカジュアルな話し方の紹介（しょうかい）もできます。
● 中級（ちゅうきゅう）から上級（じょうきゅう）クラス
それぞれの生徒（せいと）さんの興味（きょうみ）のある分野（ぶんや）やテーマを中心（ちゅうしん）に 進（すす）めていきます。もし、思（おも）い 付（つ）くテーマがない場合（ばあい）は私の方からいくつか提案（ていあん）します。単語（たんご）を多（おお）く覚（おぼ）えられるように沢山（たくさん）話（はな）して沢山 使（つか）ってもらいます。敬語（けいご）または友人同士のカジュアルな話し方やよく使われる 言（い）い回（まわ）しやフレーズを練習（れんしゅう）します。
テキストブックでは「GENKI」と「みんなの日本語」を 持（も）っていますので、希望（きぼう）があればそれらを使うこともできます。私は教師（きょうし）ではないですが、できるかぎりの お手伝（てつだ）いをします。

Hi! I’m Kana :)
After I studied landscape architecture at the university in my hometown and after graduated I moved to Tokyo. Then I’ve been living in Germany for 6 years in different cities. I met my husband while I was studying for my master of landscape architecture and moved to Italy. After that we moved to Los Angeles for 3 years, where we also had a beautiful daughter, before moving back to Italy. I worked also as a graphic designer and I used to teach pottery in LA. At the moment I’m studying to become a Japanese language teacher.
As you can imagine I speak English, German and Italian fluently and I’d love to help you with Japanese conversation. From my experience in studying other languages I got a complete understanding of the struggles of learning a new language. I had many teachers and tried many methods and schools, and now I know what works and what doesn’t. I’ll help you to get better at speaking Japanese with ease and fun. Trust me :) My character:

My daughter is now 4 years old, and I spoke to her in Japanese since she was a baby, so she’s now perfectly fluent. I’m very good with small kids and very patience! :D
* In case the student is a small child please send me a Skype message before the lesson about the child such as his/her age, his/her Japanese level and the background why he/she is learning Japanese so I can prepare some materials for the class!
I’m more for natural conversations since I’m still studying the Japanese grammar for teaching, but I’ll try to help you as much as I can.

● Kids class (from ５ years old)
I’ll use illustrations, cards, books and fairy tales to make the lessons more fun and interesting. For memorizing Hiragana and Katakana we will play some games. I’ll introduce Japanese traditions and seasonal events.
● Beginner class
We’ll start with some beginners’ conversations (introducing yourself, shopping etc..) using typical phrases. Mainly we’ll use keigo for our conversation but we will also introduce casual speech (not keigo) like between friends.
● Middle - Advanced class
Students can chose the topics for the conversations. If you have no preference I’ll suggest some. To memorize a lot of different words, we’ll talk a lot and use those words. You can choose keigo or casual (not keigo) for our conversations.
I own popular textbooks such as “GENKI” or “Minna no Nihongo” so if you prefer to use them we can use those too. I’m not a teacher yet but I’ll try to help you as much I can.

I’m Japanese born and bred. I'm from Hokkaido in the north.
After I graduated from university I worked as a registered dietitian in Osaka and then I moved to Kagawa, the udon capital of the world, so I know city life and countryside life!! Both are great!
Now I’m living in Canada. I have been studying French recently.
I lived in New Zealand for two and a half years in total. During that time I have taught Japanese at the Japanese Embassy in New Zealand.
I think that an effective way to learn Japanese is to speak, listen and get used to it with a native speaker! Feel free to chat with me!
What I am good at and what I pay attention to when teaching Japanese.
When I was a registered dietitian, I would listen to people all the time. I had to work with them to find the things that they could do to become more healthy. So I’m quite good at listening carefully and following your pace.
I have joined many Japanese classes and language exchange events（Mundo Lingo）. So I am used to listening to non-native Japanese. I’m also good at guessing what you want to say.
I’m currently living with a New Zealander and an Australian. Living with people from different cultures can be interesting! If you are living with any Japanese people I would love to hear about it!
Perhaps you are thinking about working or studying in Japan. I studied abroad in New Zealand, so I know the kind of situations you might face.
Lessons
At the beginning of the lesson, tell me (1) your name and (2) what you want to do in the lesson.
We can talk about whatever you like. You can ask me about anything you want to know about Japan or Japanese languages.
If you speak in unnatural sentences or pronunciations, I will tell you how to say it more naturally. If you don't like it, please let me know.

You can use any textbooks you’d like to use. (Just let me know before the lesson because I doon't have any.)
