I was born and raised in Japan. My hometown is Chiba Prefecture, next to Tokyo. I speak standard Japanese without an accent. I graduated from Waseda University in 1981. From 1981 to 1983, I studied abroad in the United States, pursuing a degree in Business Administration at the University of California, San Diego. After that, I worked for a Japanese trading company from 1983 to 1985, gaining overseas experience in the US and Hong Kong. For about 30 years, I managed a transportation company, which allows me to offer insights and advice from both employer and employee perspectives. Currently, I work as a Japanese-English translator and English teacher. I also teach Japanese and conversational Japanese to specific skilled workers from the Philippines, Nepal, China, Malaysia, and other countries, who are employed at hotels in Tokyo Disneyland.
