Hello,my name is Toyoko.

I live in  Nagoya.
I used to make dog outfits myself to sell at an online shop.
My daughter has been living in the United States for 15 years.
I get to talk to my daughter’s friend in English often to practice my English.
Talking with people who grew up in different counties is very interesting, and by leaning another Language makes me realized how Japanese Language is interesting.
I’d  love to share my knowledge ,culture and experiences to you too.

Don’t worry even you can’t speak Japanese at all  ,we can start from easy words.
If you already can speak the basic ,we can do something more advance .

My goal to teach is not only teaching ,but I want you to have fun ,learning our culture ,and want you to find some interests of our country.
I’ve been taking English classes on Skype for years so I totally understand how you feel but let's not worry about having mistakes ,don’t be shy and let's just have fun talking !
The most important thing is getting use to talk so keep it up and

Please feel free to ask me if you have any questions .
Don’t pay attention to the details that much first  ,and let’s just focus to learning words and enjoy studying together .

こんにちは、私の名前はとよこです。
ニックネームはＴＯＫＯです。

私は名古屋に住んでいます。
以前犬の服や着物を作って、オンラインショップを開いていました。
娘はアメリカに１５年以上住んでいます。
娘の友達とたまに話す機会があり、よく英語を勉強しています。
他国に住んでいる人と話すのは、とても興味深いことで、他国語を習う中で、日本語の面白さにも気づくことができました。
私の知識、文化、そして経験をあなたにも伝えたいです。


全く日本語が話せなくても、心配しないでください。簡単な単語から始められます。
もし既に話せる方でしたら、更に難しいレベルを勉強しましょう。

私の目標は、ただ教えるのではなく、皆さんに楽しんでもらい、日本の文化を学んでもらい、更に日本に興味をもってもらえたらいいなぁと思っています。

私は数年前からオンライン英会話スクール（Skype）で英会話を習っています。
間違いを恐れない・恥ずかしがらない・とにかく話す　フリートークを中心に学んでいます。
ですから、生徒さんの気持ちが凄く良く分かります。
近所の叔母さんと話す様な軽い気持ちで話しませんか？
とにかくドンドン話し、慣れる事が大切だと思います。

日本人の方も大歓迎です。
私は最近まで９３歳の義父、８８歳の認知症の義母と暮らしていました。
話せば楽に成る事も有ります。

・Toko was very patient and calming. She was good at keeping the conversation going when I didn't know what to say. She would explain what I did not understand. I plan on continuing my lessons with her.
