Self-introduction

Hello! I am Nobuko. I was born and raised in Japan but currently live in Africa. I lived in France, England, Bangladesh and also studied in Sweden. I am still learning French and I understand how difficult it is for an adult to learn a new language. Let's study together little by little!

■My lesson

I have three types of lessons as below
1. Casual conversation 
2. Lessons for Kids (above 9 years old)
3. Business conversation  

1. Casual conversation

You can choose any topic. Here are a few examples of topics.  

  • ​Travel conversation
    • greeting
    • making a reservation, ordering at a restaurant
    • announcement at a train station
    • lost items
  • Daily conversation
    • shopping at a supermarket
    • trouble at an apartment
    • food and cooking
I can use images, photos to help you to describe things better in Japanese if needed.
 
As a side note, my hobbies are travelling, camping and jogging. I like outdoor activities. I am a Certified General Travel Services Manager.


2. Lessons for Kids (above 9 years old)

To give more opportunities for your child to speak Japanese or to correct her/his Japanese, I am happpy to do it. I can use images or children books to develop her/him speaking skills. I would like to support your kids to be confident in Japan or another country to know more about Japanese culture and Japanese. You or your kids can tell me about anything including his/her concerns at school.
 
As a side note, I have two children. Currently, I teach Hiragana and Katakana for my small one at home. The big one is studying Kanji. I am happy to have lessons with kids.


3. Business Conversation

Here are a few example of  business conversation topics.
  • Conversations as an employee at a service sector like hotels or restaurants​
  • ​Business conversations at a meeting or an office
  • Business emails for your client, colleague or boss
As a side note, I worked as a system engineer and also a travel consultant for international travellers before. We can talk about traveling throughout Japan and outside of Japan as well as business manners if you like. I am a Certified General Travel Services Manager.

＊I will speak basically in Japanese unless you need me to explain in English.

こんにちは！私（わたし）は のぶこ です。日本（にほん）で、生（う）まれ育（そだ）ちましたが、現在（げんざい）、アフリカに住（す）んでいます。これまでアフリカ以外（いがい）に、フランス、イギリス、バングラデシュに住（す）んだことがあり、学生（がくせい）の頃（ころ）にはスウェーデンに留学（りゅうがく）したこともあります。フランス語（ご）は今（いま）も勉強（べんきょう）していて、大人（おとな）になってから、新（あたら）しい言語（げんご）を勉強（べんきょう）する大変（たいへん）さがわかります。一緒（いっしょ）にコツコツと学（まな）びましょう！

■レッスン

3種類（しゅるい）のレッスンがあります。
1. 日本語（にほんご）で、話（はな）そう！
2. 子供向け（こどもむけ）レッスン
3. ビジネス会話（かいわ）

1. 日本語（にほんご）で、話（はな）そう！　

一つ目（ひとつめ）は、あなたが 好（す）きなトピックで話（はな）すフリートークです。

例（たと）えば、次（つぎ）のようなトピックもよいでしょう。

  • ​旅行会話（りょこう かいわ）
    • あいさつ
    • チケットの予約（よやく）、レストランでの注文（ちゅうもん）
    • 電車（でんしゃ）のアナウンス
    • 忘れ物（わすれもの） など
  • 日常会話（にちじょうかいわ）
    • 買い物（かいもの）
    • 住まい（すまい）のトラブル
    • 食べ物（たべもの）・料理（りょうり）
ちなみに、私（わたし）の趣味（しゅみ）は、旅行（りょこう）、キャンプ、ジョギングなどです。アウトドアが好（す）きです。旅行（りょこう）の仕事（しごと）もしていました。
 

2. 子供（こども）向（む）け会話（かいさ）レッスン

9歳（さい）以上（以上）の子供（こども）を対象（たいしょう）に、日本語（にほんご）を話（はな）す機会（きかい）を増（ふ）やし、正（ただ）しい日本語（にほんご）を話（はな）せるようになるよう、子供（こども）向け（む）の会話（かいわ）レッスンも可能（かのう）です。

フリートークの他（ほか）、必要（ひつよう）に応（おう）じて、お子様（こさま）の興味（きょうみ）に合（あ）わせたイメージや子供向けの本（ほん）を用（もち）います。日本の生活（せいかつ）で困（こま）ったことでも、気軽（きがる）に相談（そうだん）してください。
ちなみに、私（わたし）は、子供（こども）が二人（ふたり）います。現在（げんざい）、下（した）の子（こ）は、ひらがなとカタカナを、自宅（じたく）で勉強（べんきょう）しています。上（うえ）の子（こ）は漢字（かんじ）を勉強（べんきょう）しています。お子（こ）さんの日本語（にほんご）のレッスンも大歓迎（だいかんげい）です！

3. ビジネス会話（かいわ） 

ビジネスに関（かか）わるマナーの話（はなし）や、次（つぎ）のような、ビジネス会話（かいわ）を題材（だいざい）として話（はな）しましょう。
  • コンビニ、レストラン、スーパーなど、サービス業（ぎょう）で働（はたら）く従業員（じゅうぎょういん）がよく使（つか）う会話（かいわ）
  • ​ビジネスミーティングやオフィスでよく使（つか）う会話
  • ビジネスメールの書き方（かきかた）
ちなみに、私（わたし）は、以前（いぜん）はエンジニアとして働（はたら）いたことがある他（ほか）、外国人（がいこくじん）向（む）けの旅行（りょこう）のアレンジもしていたこともあります。そのため、ビジネスマナーや、ホテル、コンビニ、レストランなど、カスタマーサービスでよく使（つか）う会話（かいわ）の練習（れんしゅう）もできます。


＊上達（じょうたつ）したい方（かた）には、宿題（しゅくだい）を出（だ）します。
＊あなたが日本語（にほんご）をたくさん話（はな）せるように、私もできるだけ日本語（にほんご）で話（はな）します。必要（ひつよう）に応（おう）じて英語（えいご）で説明（せつめい）します。
