Who I am ?
Hello everyone! My name is Yumi. I was born in Kyoto prefecture. And I’ve been living in NL since 1997. When I was in Kyoto, I worked as a professional writer. I also have experience teaching Japanese writing to Japanese students.
Since coming to the Netherlands, I’ve been working as a Japanese teacher for 25 years.

I also have a lot of experience to study foreign languages( Dutch, English, German)  as a learner.
I know it is not easy to speak, to understand, to listening if you study foreign language because of my experience as a learner in the Netherlands. But  I really feel that [ Learning foreign language = knowing the country.] It is so interesting for me. ( = you )
So... When I give a Japanese lesson  , I always try to understand the feeling of the learners.
Do it with me!! 


I support various lessons according to your purpose, levels and goals. The focus is to learn what you want to do for fun, for preparation exam ( JLPT, IB diploma, IGCSE diploma etc )
or business.

Oral practice !!

1. Free talking and Conversation.

I am offering lessons of conversation to adult students of all levels. I have given many Japanese language learners, but they don’t have a chance to actually practice speaking Japanese with.  In each lesson, I will choose topics according to the situation. (Movie, food, trip, family, living etc. )
Of course, easy chatting is also fun! Welcome!!

2. Regular Japanese lessons.( in English )

(a)Reading & Understanding , Writing!
Regular lessons use textbooks for grammar, vocabulary, listening and reading.
If you cannot read hiragana & katakana, don’t worry!! You can study in Romaji until you can read them.

(b)Reviewing!!

You may always review what you learned at school. Let me know what you want to review before the lesson. I will prepare for you many of materials.

3. Preparation examination.

JLPT , IB, IGCSE . Do you want to try the exam in the future? For your success, I am an energetic teacher. I aim to inspire my students and push them to produce their best while maintaining a fairly light-hearted atmosphere.

自己紹介
みなさん　こんにちは。Yumi です。出身は　京都府(kyoto fu)です。
今(ima)はオランダに住(su)んでいます。日本語の先生(sensei)になって２５年(nen)になります。

日本にいたときは、プロのライターとして仕事(shigoto)をしていました。新聞(sinnbun)や雑誌(zasshi)、広告(koukoku)などに文章(bunshou)を書(ka)いたり、人(hito)にインタビューをしたり、おもしろい仕事でした。
ビジネスの日本語もたくさん経験(keiken)しています。
言葉(kotoba)のプロとして、みなさんの力(tikara)になれればうれしいです。

レッスンは、いろいろなクラスを用意(youi)しています。

初級(shokyu) レベルの方は「英語」で
初中級(shochuukyuu ) 以上の方は「日本語を中心」で　レッスンを行います。



人によって　勉強(benkyou)したいことは　ちがいますね。あなたはどんな日本語のレッスンがしたいですか。

Oral practice !!

1. 日本語で いろいろな話(hanashi) をしたい。

学校( gakkou) で日本語を習(nara)ったのに、日本人と話(hana) す機会( kikai )がない人( hito )は多い( oo i )です。習った日本語を忘( wasu) れないために、そしてもっともっと上手( jouzu ) になるために、話すことを続( tuzuke ) けましょう。


学校で習(nara)った日本語をどんどんつかってみましょう。このレッスンでは、

(A) 旅行(ryokou)、レストラン、駅(eki)や空港(ku-kou)、ショッピングなどいろいろな場面(bamen)を取(to)り上(a)げてそれに合(a)わせた会話(kaiwa)や言葉(kotoba)を勉強します。　　 (おすすめ：初級レベル/ beginners levelから）


(B)　写真(shasin)を見(mi)ながら、それについて文章(bunshou)を作(tuku)ったり、意見(iken)を伝(tuta)える練習(renshuu)をします。
　（初級レベル/ beginners levelから 上級レベル/advance levelまで）

(C)  テーマやトピックについて　自分(jibun)の意見(iken)や考(kanga)えを伝(tuta)える練習(renshuu)をします。
　（初中級から　上級レベル / pre-intermediate ~ advance level）

ex) 「あなたの好(su)きな食べ物(tabemono) はなんですか」
　　「健康(kenkou)のために毎日(mainichi) していることがありますか」
　　「将来( shourai )、どんな町(machi )に住(su) みたいですか」　などなど。

(D)  あなたがつたえたいことについて　わかりやすく話す練習をします。
  （初級レベルから / beginner's level~ 上級レベルまで/advance level ）
　　簡単(kantan) な日本語を、正(tada) しく自然(shizen) な日本語で　話せるように練習( renshuu) しましょう。
　
ex/ しぜんな　自己紹介。
　　レストランで　使う自然な日本語。
　　ショッピングで役に立つ自然な日本語

     2. 学校で勉強した日本語を、復習( fukushuu )したい。

長く使わないうちに、忘れてしまった文法や漢字はありませんか。レッスンでなんとなくしか理解できなかった内容はありませんか。
このレッスンでは、過去に習った文法や漢字、文をもう一度　復習します。復習の後で、自分で使えるように、実際に話したり、文を作ったりしてみます。

「読む」「聞く」「書く」の　基本的な日本語をしっかり身につけたい人におすすめです。

4. ビジネスの日本語を　読んだり、書いたりしたい。

ていねいな日本語から、カジュアルな日本語まで、場面に合わせて練習しましょう。

★日本で長く仕事をしていたので、日本語だけでなく日本の仕事のマナーやスタイルなどいろいろな話も紹介できます。

★ 音読( ondoku )レッスンのススメ!!★

　声(koe) に出(da) して読(yo) むことは、自然(sizenn) な日本語発声（nihongo hassei )の練習になります。
　レッスンでは、日本の教科書( kyoukasho )なども使(tuka )って読(yo) む練習(renshuu) をします。
　（初級レベルから　/ beginner ~ advance level )


たくさんのレッスンの経験があるので、まちがえやすい言葉や発音などをよく知っています。きれいな日本語のために　「声に出してよむ　れんしゅう」をしましょう！

たとえば。。。読み方(yo mi kata )違い(tigai )で、意味( imi )がことなる言葉( kotoba )がたくさん！

ex) びよういん　／　びょういん　、おじさん　／　おじいさん
　　とうきょう　／　とっきょ　　、おばさん　／　おばあさん
　　さる　　　／　　ざる　        、　きて　／　きいて / 　きって
