Hello & Welcome!

Hi everyone! I’m Tomoyo, a Japanese teacher from Nara, Japan.

I have experience working in office administration, customer service, and sales, and I’m also a mother. I studied abroad in New Zealand for a short time, and I’m still learning English today!

So I know how exciting it is to learn a new language — and also how difficult it can feel when you can’t find the right words.

That’s why I want my lessons to be a comfortable place where you can relax, make mistakes, and enjoy speaking Japanese. 😊

🌸 What Can We Learn Together?

I can help you learn practical Japanese that you can actually use in everyday life and when traveling in Japan.

For example:

• Travel Japanese
  Useful phrases for asking for help, ordering food, shopping, and asking locals for recommendations.
• Japanese food & cooking
  Let’s talk about Japanese ingredients, grocery shopping, home cooking, and simple Japanese recipes！
• Beginner Japanese & Grammar
  If you want to study systematically, we can use GENKI and build your Japanese foundation step by step.
• Speaking practice & role-plays
  We can practice real-life situations through conversations and role-plays. I can also help with pronunciation if you’d like.

And of course, we can use games and fun activities too!

みなさん、こんにちは！講師の Tomoyo（トモヨ）です。

日本の関西（奈良県）に住んでいます。

これまでは事務職や接客、販売などの仕事をしてきたほか、子供を育てた経験もあります。また、自身もニュージーランドへの短期留学経験があり、現在も英語の勉強を続けています！

言葉が話せると世界が広がる！言葉が通じない不安や、「話せるようになりたい！」という気持ちがとてもよく分かりますので、初心者の方も安心してレッスンに来てくださいね。

私のレッスンでは、「日本での生活や旅行ですぐに使いたいリアルな日本語」を楽しく学ぶことができます！

・旅行で役立つ会話（観光地での困りごとの尋ね方、素敵なお店を教えてもらう）

・日本の食文化＆料理会話（スーパーでの食材の選び方、美味しい日本料理の作り方やレシピの説明）

・関西の文化や観光案内（歴史ある奈良や関西の見どころ、地元の耳寄り情報もシェアできます！）

・じっくり文法学習（初学者に人気のテキスト「げんき（Genki）」を使って、基礎からしっかり学べます）

・ロールプレイや発音が気なる方は発音チェック、ゲームなんかをとりいれながら楽しくすすめます。
