私は、日本の大阪市に住んでいます。昼間は建設会社で働き、主に夜間・休日に日本語の授業をしています。
趣味は、日本武道（柔道）とボクシング。特技は料理で調理師の資格も持っています。自分で自分のことを言うのも恥ずかしいですが「温厚で丁寧、そしてユーモアのある」日本語講師です。
日本語のレッスンについては、会社で社内研修の担当だったこともあり、あなたの気持ちを理解し、ニーズに合わせて、日本語が習熟しやすいレッスンをします。具体的には、あなたの希望を確認し、それに合わせて使用するテキストを選定します。そして、そのテキストでの学習は、あなたの習熟度合いを確認しながら、進むばかりではなく、時には前回のレッスンに戻り、学習内容が身につくことに重点を置きながらレッスンを進めます。また、英語も少し話せますが、私が話すとあなたの日本語のスキルが伸びないので、あえて積極的に話さないようにします。
また、レッスンの中で日本武道（柔道）の経験者として武道の作法や武道者としての考え方も受講様にご理解してもらえるようにします。他には調理師免許の持っていますのでレッスンの中で日本の食文化（料理）の話もしながらレッスンができるよう心がけます。

I live in Osaka, Japan. I work for a construction company during the day and teach Japanese mainly in the evenings and on weekends.
My hobbies are Japanese martial arts (judo) and boxing. My special skill is cooking, and I'm a certified chef. I'm a little embarrassed to say this myself, but I'm a "gentle, polite, and humorous" Japanese teacher.
As a former in-house training instructor, I understand your needs and tailor my lessons to help you master Japanese. Specifically, I'll confirm your preferences and select the appropriate textbook. I'll then progress through the textbook, checking your level of proficiency. Instead of simply going through the textbook, I'll occasionally return to previous lessons and focus on ensuring you fully understand what you learned. I also speak a little English, but I avoid actively speaking it, as it won't help improve your Japanese.
As a former martial artist (judo), I'll also help students understand martial arts etiquette and the mindset of a martial artist during my lessons. I also have a chef's license, so I will try to talk about Japanese food culture (cooking) during my lessons.
I am grateful for the connection (fate) that has allowed me to meet you and to want to take my lessons, and I will teach you with the motto of "Bright! Fun! Relaxed learning time with a smile!"
