こんにちは！　私の名前はKazです。
2003年と2009年にオーストラリアに留学し、約一年半住んでいました。英語での会話も可能です。

(こんにちは。　わたしの　なまえは　Kaz　です。　以前、　オーストラリアに　住んでいました。　英語を　話せます。)

Hello there! I'm Kaz. I lived in Australia in 2003 and 2009, for a year and half in total. I also speak English, so I can explain some difficult words or terms in English if you need.

ライティング添削 / Writing Check
　文化人類学や比較文化論をはじめとする人文学分野の論文や要旨の日本語添削をすることができます。Ｎ１試験の長文に出てくるような、高度な内容の日本語をチェックすることが出来ます。日本留学試験（EJU）の記述問題に取り組んでいる方、日本文化に関する論文の要旨を日本語で書いている方や、日本の大学・大学院に進学を考えている方は、助けになれます。上記以外の日本語の添削も大歓迎です。

I pursued my studies of anthropology and cross cultural studies in the Graduate school. Therefore, I can check your Japanese abstract, writings for EJU,  essay, or paper. If you are thinking about entering University or Graduate school in Japan, I can help！

　このレッスンでは、きもの（着物）についての基礎知識をレクチャーします。会話をするというよりも、マンツーマンで座学の授業を受ける形になります。

○趣味 / My Hobby

読書 / Reading books
　小説、ライトノベル、マンガ、人文学系の研究書など興味を持ったものは何でも読みます。自分でも驚きますが、初対面の人に教えてもらった本にハマることもあります。最近、Japatalkの学習者さんに教えてもらった『無職転生――異世界行ったら本気だす――』というマンガを読みました。すっごく面白くて、原作の小説を買い漁ろうかと思っているところです。お勧めの本があれば、ぜひ紹介してください。

　本を　読むことが　好きです。　小説や　ライトノベル、　マンガ、　研究書など、　色々読みます。　おすすめの本があったら　紹介してください。

　I like reading books. I often read novel, light novel, manga, monograph, and so on. Recently, one student introduced me a manga whose title is “無職転生”, and I read it. It was so great. If you have any book or manga you recommend, please introduce me!
 

きもの / Kimono
　着物は着つけも自分でしますが、着物の柄の意味や産地ごとの特徴などを知ることも好きです。特に西陣織が好きです。また、着物の模様を作る時の技術も興味深くて好きです。絞りや大島紬などは芸術品だと思います。もちろん着物を着るのも好きです。着物を着るとき、手順と道具が多く、混乱します。時々、使って身に着けているはずの道具が、着物を着た後の手元に余っている事があります(笑)　着ないと忘れてしまうので、時々レッスンに着物で現れると思います。「あぁ、練習してたんだなぁ…」と思っておいてください。

　きものが　好きです。  きものの　もようの　意味を　知ることが　好きです。　きものを　作るための　伝統技術も　とても好きです。　特に好きな　きものは、　西陣織　や　絞り　や　大島紬　です。　きものを　着るのは　難しいので、　よく　着る練習を　します。　きものが　好きな　人は、　いっしょに　お話を　しましょう。

　I like wearing kimono, and I especially like to know about the meanings of traditional kimono patterns or weaving.The traditional technique to make kimono is awesome. I especially like "Nishijin-ori", “shibori”, and “Oshima-tsumugi”. I think these kimonos are so much artistic. If you are interested in Kimono, let't talk about it together! I can teach you some basic knowledges of kimono!
  I also like wearing kimono. We have many processes and tools to wear kimono, and I think it is not easy. I often practice wearing kimono in order not to forget how to wear.
 

ピアノ / Playing the piano
　3歳の頃から15年間習っていました。現在は趣味程度に弾いています。最近のマイブームは久石譲です。アニメソングもよく弾きます。音楽鑑賞もよくやります。

　ピアノを　弾くのが　好きです。　最近は、　久石譲の曲を　よく弾きます。　音楽を　聴くのも　好きです。

　I play the piano. I have been playing it since I was 3 years old. My favorite artist is Joe Hisaishi, who is famous for Ghibli music.
 

いろんな国や地域の風習や文化などについて勉強すること / Studying about cultures
　大学院で文化研究をしていました。特に専門としているのは、大衆文化化した宗教文化や文化史です。特に日本が輸入して楽しんでいるアメリカ由来の文化や歴史をディープに調査していますが、非常に面白いです。

　Japatalkで日本語講師としてレッスンを提供してはいますが、お互いに様々な情報を交換するなど、切磋琢磨できる関係を築けたらいいなと思っています。よろしくお願いします。

・Learners struggle with the transition from spoken to written Japanese. I found Kazu-sensei's teaching method to be very effective and beneficial in increasing learners' vocabulary by using kanji two-character idioms instead of conversational language during the lesson so that the choice of words is for the learners' benefit.
